In 2007, Rick’s Place was established as a non-profit organization to provide grief support to youth and their parents/guardians. We offer community and connection to families as they manage one of life’s most difficult experiences – the death of a significant caregiver or sibling.  We have free grief support programs for families on-site in Wilbraham two evenings a month.  We also facilitate grief support groups in area schools and lead professional development trainings for school personnel and practitioners about the impact of grief on young people.  Our grief support programs serve Western Massachusetts and northern Connecticut communities.

All proceeds from the Walk/Run will benefit Rick’s Place.
