In real life, it hardly ever works to physically HIT your TV or computer when they’re not working.  But it works in movies all the time, usually for comedic effect.

There’s a new montage online of movie and TV characters doing it, and it’s set to music . . . so they rhythmically punch and kick their broken computers, TVs, and other gadgets to the beat of the song.
