ON-AIR OPENING (Full-Time)

Solo host? We’re looking for you! We want you to join our team in Springfield, MA during morning drive time on active rock Lazer 99.3 & 98.5. If you are a pop culture lover, have strong social media and writing skills, love being in the community, and don’t mind living in the heart of New England — a short drive from Boston, NYC, beaches, and slopes, this could be a great opportunity for you.

We’re looking for someone with a big personality who is passionate about pop culture, knows rock music inside and out, and isn’t scared of being themselves on the radio and sharing experiences with our audience. Someone who doesn’t just talk at that audience; but connects with them on-air, on social media, and at appearances all over town. If you can shoot and edit video, that’s a big plus too.

Responsibilities may include the following:

  • Host a successful morning radio show.
  • Engage with listeners via phone calls, contests, social media, and at live appearances and broadcasts.
  • Load and produce commercials and station programs.
  • Post stories to station website and social media pages.
  • Operate on-air console and audio controls.
  • Be a positive member of a tight-knit team.

Send resume and aircheck to alex@lazer993.com – NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE
