Rubbing It In His Face?

The commentator says this couple is rubbing the caught ball in the kid’s face. Really? Are you kidding me? If I was a huge baseball fan and caught my favorite team’s ball, I’m not giving it up either. Why should some snot nose little kid get it? Oh, that’s right…because he’s a KID. Who cares?! Isn’t that ageism? So, an older person catches it and they’re obligated by society to relinquish it to a perfect stranger? Sounds kind of like the welfare system to me. I have something, but I give it to someone else who “needs” it. F_ck that. I caught it. I’m keeping it. Please!! Enough with the coddling of our little snowflakes. This kid just learned a very valuable lesson from this. As Mick says, “you can’t always get what you want”.
