Girls Screams “You WILL Marry Me!”


This little girl must be from East Longmeadow, the land of girls DESPERATE to marry and spend a lifetime shopping at Homegoods while wearing Coach pocketbooks. It just must be in some girls DNA. It’s got to be! I mean, Look – you’ve got a five yr old girl screaming “You WILL marry me!” to a poor, unassuming, little boy. This little guy doesn’t have a shot in hell. There he sits on his perch while she, like a feral cat, lurks around him, taunting him, hissing her vitriol and threats. This goes beyond adamant. She demands he marry her. There’s no negotiating here. There’s no free will. This isn’t good, old fashion coercion. No, it’s beyond that. It’s threatening – so much so that the little guy just breaks down in tears. He just can’t take it any more. Listen guys, I’m apologizing. As  a woman, on behalf of all my crazy marriage obsessed sisters out there, the sheep that they are – I’m sorry. Don’t let yourself be forced into doing what it is you’re not yet ready to do.  Be strong. Just say No. Say it as often as you must.  Say it until it feel 100%, without a doubt, right.
