Sex Slavery Funny?

These celebs are trying to bring to light the human trafficking epidemic. If you’re not aware, to summarize…Bad guys will literally kidnap little girls and boys off streets and drug them and keep them in apartments. They, then, must service client after client after client. The way out for these children? It’s usually death. Of all the human suffering, the mass raping of women and men in Darfur, the genital mutilation of millons of girls across the Mideast and Africa, young girls being forced to marry older men ( some even being their father or uncle or grandfather) – Human trafficking is the most deplorable crime ever. It’s close to impossible to stop because the police can often be bribed. American businessmen will travel to Thailand and pay the local authorities to let them do what they came there to do. Deplorable. So, yes, it’s great that celebrities are using their names and status to bring this issue to light. But, is using humor really the way to go?
