ACCOUNTING MANAGER/BUSINESS MANAGER

Saga Communications of NE, LLC, a broadcasting company operating radio stations in East Longmeadow, Northampton & Greenfield, MA; Brattleboro VT; and Keene NH is seeking an Accounting Manager/Business Manager.

This Full-Time position is based in East Longmeadow, MA

The Accounting Manager is responsible for financial reporting, human resources and office management. These responsibilities include financial statement preparation including work papers and related schedules, general ledger, A/P, A/R, payroll, budgeting, credit/collections, human resources, benefits administration, and day-to-day management of customer service team (traffic director, billing manager, and receptionist). Qualified candidates must have a college degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar accounting and decision-making position (broadcasting office experience preferred).

Musts: able to function in a fast-paced and self-directed environment, be organized and flexible, have analytical skills to interpret data and problem solve, strong computer skills with accurate data entry, detailed oriented, an excellent communicator who can work well with a variety of personalities and handle HR issues. You must also be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
