Google glasses are creepy (to me), but they offer some freedom to those that are paralyzed. Why creepy? I’m, literally, frightened at the rate at which technology is accelerating. Sometimes I just want to check out and live off the grid in Costa Rica or Uruguay. I hear the ex-pat communities there are fantastic. It’s all moving too fast. I need to hear more birds chirping, feel more leaves beneath my feet, live simpler.
