A high school basketball tournament in Westchester, New York ended with a crazy buzzer beater yesterday.

The score was 60 to 58 with 2.9 seconds left, and a player on the team that was winning stole an inbound pass, and tossed the ball up in the air to burn the rest of the clock. Which wasn’t a bad idea.He just didn’t throw it HIGH enough . . . because a player on the other team caught it, and launched a shot from 55 feet away. At first, the referees waved it off, because they didn’t think he beat the buzzer. But they overturned it, so the final score was 60 to 61.
