Turkey Bowl!

Started in 2008 in West Springfield, Ma in honor of John Kenney, The Turkey Bowl has become a local tradition. John Kenney is a 7 year old boy affected with Sturge-Weber Syndrome. Sturge-Weber is a very rare disorder affecting the brain. John has lesions on a portion of his brain that prohibit that portion of the brain from growing. When his family found The Sturge-Weber foundation in 2005, they realized that they were not alone in their struggle. In 2008 Johns family had a small gathering  at their home and had a touch football game and collected donations. Now, five years later, it has become a tradition for many. The Turkey Bowl has a touch football game, live music, crafts, and many childrens activities. We suggest that adults donate $10. at the door and kids are always free. All proceeds go directly to the Sturge-Weber Foundation.  We hope to see you this Thanksgiving morning from 9am – noon!
