My Horse Crush

Can a human have a crush on a horse? Please refrain from any obscene comments. I’m serious. I was “youtubing” (is that a verb now?) polar bear cubs, then micro-pigs, then this video appeared on the right side of the screen. It was a still of a magnificent beast of an animal. The title was Gypsy Vanner Horses. Never heard of them, so I clicked. That’s when I fell in love. Why women, from childhood and on, have such an affinity for horses I have no clue. What I do know, is that this horse has stolen my heart. The word majestic doesn’t even come close. If this horse were a mountain range, he’d be The Dolomites. If he were a car, he’d be a wide body Porsche 911. He’s magnificent and grand and Alpha! He is awesome in the true sense of the word. I am completely taken with this animal. His beauty can only be rivaled by the big cats of Africa and India or the Amercian Northwest. Look at his muscularity – yet the finesse with which it graces his body (think Porsche 911). The mane of this animal is just ridiculous. This creature looks like something out of a fairy tale, something the Valkyries would ride when heading off to battle. Oh my god do I love this animal! oh and did I mention I want one? So, if you find yourself on the winning end of a lottery ticket…..I’m just sayin’.
