Local Good Guy/Dad Needs Help

You’ve think you’ve had it tough? I guarantee it doesn’t even come close to what Mark Kenney’s been through over the last few years. Mark’s wife and son were both very, very sick. Mark made trips to the hospital in Boston to be at his wife’s bed side week after week, month after month….all the while caring for their sick son. His wife battled one problem after another. Mark tried his best to keep it together for his little guy. Sadly, after so much hope, his wife lost her battle, leaving Mark a single dad of a sick little boy. Mark’s a trooper for sure! For the last few years, Mark has been raising money for the Sturge-Weber foundation (this is the neurological disorder his son has). He hosts a touch football game at his house on Thanksgiving morning. He’ll provide some doughnuts and coffee for the adults and cocoa and crafts for the little ones.  A $10.00 donation is suggested for adults who play. If you want to go, show up Thursday morning at 274 Woodmont St. West Springfield.
