Man, oh Man. I just don’t know about this. Listen, I get it. I KNOW breastfeeding is natural. It’s about the most natural thing a woman can do. But, the operative word there is “Woman”. I KIND of get what the makers of this doll are saying…they say us Americans sexualize breasts so much that we’ve forgotten their real purpose…to sustain life. So, taking that into consideration, the doll seems more benign. For instance, little girls give bottles and pacifiers to babies right? So, why not feed them naturally? I can honestly say, I see their point of view and I can respect that argument. Maybe if i grew up in France or Spain, I’d feel differently. But, I didn’t. I grew up here, here where little girls aren’t supposed to even recognize they have breasts until they’re 14 or 15. I don’t know Man. I just get all kinds of uncomfortable when I see this.
