Housing complex named after Bon Jovi

A housing complex in Pennsylvania now bears rocker Jon Bon Jovi’s initials, after his foundation helped fund the development for less fortunate families.

The “Livin’ on a Prayer” hitmaker’s Bon Jovi’s Soul Foundation has been helping the homeless in the U.S. since 2006, and their latest project also serves as a tribute to the rocker and his charitable efforts.

Bon Jovi’s organization handed over $16.6 million towards the complex in Philadelphia, a 55-unit development which will be occupied by low-income tenants.

The frontman was on hand for the grand opening of the four-story building on Tuesday, which is called JBJ Soul Homes.
