Community Calendar Submission Instructions:
The community calendar only accepts notices from non-profit organizations and charities.
For on air mentions: A completed 30 second script for events must be submitted no later than 3 weeks in advance. We can only publicize events and benefits from established 501c3 corporations with 100% of proceeds benefiting the charity.
(Due to overwhelming demand, we cannot guarantee any on air mentions.)

Easter Seals Splash of Color Family Fun Run

Grab your family & friends for some outrageous fun while supporting Easter Seals! Walk/Run/Roll through this color filled untimed race. All race participants receive an Easter Seals t-shirt and lunch.

Entry fee: Adults $30 ($35 after 10/1) Students: $20

Every year, Easter Seals services benefit nearly 26,000 people with disabilities, their families, teachers and employers in Massachusetts. Easter Seals services provide equal opportunities for children and adults with disabilities to live, learn, work and play.

Iron Horse Road House Pig Roast

With or without a motorcycle, join Iron Horse Road House to raise money for the kids at Gray House and Wings of Angels! Sign ups begin at 9:30a and the ride begins at 10:30a. $20 per rider, $15 for others, $8 for kids 12 and under, free for kids under 5. There will be a 50/50 drawing at 1:30p. This event is rain or shine with inside accommodations if it rains

Palmer Pumpkin Palooza

On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the Great Pumpkin and her minions will arrive at Pulaski Park for the first ever Palmer Pumpkin Palooza.

This Fall Festival will include family fun activities throughout day and once night falls, a giant display of Jack O’ Lanterns. There will be hayrides, music, dancers, games, food trucks, and of course pumpkins. The Falcon’s mascot, Screech, will be making an appearance along with Sparky the Fire Dog.  We will have costumes and pumpkin carving contests with cash prizes, sponsored by Fire Service Group.

Guests are asked to bring a carved pumpkin to include as part of the display.  There is no admission fee.  We only ask for a $1 donation for the candle to be placed in the pumpkin.

Enjoy local entertainment including musical acts,  Good Acoustics, Tony Valley and Billy Goodspeed.  They will be a variety of vendors selling everything from Halloween themed goods to specialty bags and cooking supplies.

This event is a joint venture between Palmer Soccer Association and Gotta Dance of Palmer, MA.

Fundraiser comedy night with Bucky Lewis to benefit Patti DuPont. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased at Doors open at 6p, dinner is at 7p and the show begins at 8p.
