Leo, Before The Oscar Nominations

Leo, Before The Oscar Nominations

Before LEONARDO DICAPRIO was an Oscar-nominated actor with the face of a 15-year-old, he was an ACTUAL 15-year-old.Someone recently dug up old footage of him from 1990, when he was a celebrity contestant on the “Double Dare”-style game show “Fun House”.Back then, he was starring on the FIRST show based on the movie “Parenthood”(He played Garry Buckman, who was played by Joaquin Phoenix in the 1989 Steve Martin movie . . . back when he was going by the name LEAF Phoenix.)

The other team’s celebrity was Danny Pintauro from “Who’s the Boss?”.  The challenges included being pelted with water balloons, picking up plastic fish with their teeth, and running around in lame Godzilla costumes. Leo shows up at 1:16.
